Does this work when the artist disabled downloads?
In most cases yes, because the track is resolved from its public stream rather than the download button.
Can I download a whole playlist or set?
No. Paste one track link at a time. Set and playlist links do not point at a single piece of audio.
Do on.soundcloud.com links work?
Yes. Short share links from the mobile app are supported — paste them exactly as copied.
What about private tracks?
Private and unlisted tracks cannot be retrieved. Only publicly accessible tracks resolve.
